KAREN DALZELL

Karen Dalzell, Cultural CEO is a risk-taking visionary who has blurred boundaries of performance, business, art, and technology since her very first exposure to the performing arts early in her career as the Executive Director of the Ottawa International Jazz Festival at the age of 23. Karen relocated to NY in 1993 to join the avant-garde theater scene, as a producer for the award-winning En Garde Arts theater company followed by her position as they Executive Director, then Board President, of the prestigious Brooklyn gallery and performance space, GAle GAtes.  

Karen started Dalzell Productions in 2000 when her experience as a producer demanded horizons beyond off-off-broadway theater.  

An accomplished, goal-oriented leader with a comprehensive business and event management background. Over 20 years of experience encompassing all aspects of the event, experiential, and conference production, management, and programming. Excellent interpersonal skills, with expertise in establishing extensive industry networks and mentoring teams. Recognized as a strategic visionary and entrepreneur with strong business acumen and a track record of success in producing exceptional events. Dalzell is a recipient of prestigious awards for exemplary performance.
